Question 1

Who builds new homes in the Fort Wayne area?

Accepted Answer

Davis Homes, a local, family-owned Indiana builder with 75 years of homebuilding experience, offers two new home collections in the Fort Wayne area: the Horizon Collection at Drakes Point, Everdeen, and Emrich Hills, and the Traditions Collection at Chestnut Creek and Mercado.

Question 2

How much do Davis Homes new homes in Fort Wayne cost?

Accepted Answer

The Horizon Collection is priced from the mid $300s to the mid $500s. The Traditions Collection ranges from the mid $700s to over $1 million.

Question 3

What is the difference between the Horizons and Traditions collections?

Accepted Answer

The Horizon Collection offers spacious family homes with larger homesites, elevated exteriors, and quality finishes in the Northwest Allen County School District. This collection of homes is ideal for families looking for more space, a larger homesite, good schools, and more square footage for your money. The Traditions Collection offers luxury homes on 1/3-acre homesites in prestigious communities, with premium finishes, superior exterior detailing, and easy I-69 access. These homes are served by the Southwest Allen County School District and enjoy lower property taxes.

Question 4

What school districts serve Davis Homes communities in Fort Wayne?

Accepted Answer

Horizon communities (Drakes Point, Everdeen, and Emrich Hills) are served by the Northwest Allen County School District. Traditions communities (Chestnut Creek and Mercado) are served by the Southwest Allen County School District.

Question 5

Are property taxes lower in Traditions communities?

Accepted Answer

Traditions communities are located in unincorporated Allen County rather than within the Fort Wayne city limits, which can mean lower property taxes. Ask a Davis Homes team member for details about a specific homesite.

Question 6

Does Davis Homes offer quick move-in homes in Fort Wayne?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both the Horizon and Traditions collections offer quick timeframes for move-in, so you can enjoy the benefits of new construction without a long wait.

Question 7

Why buy new construction instead of a resale home?

Accepted Answer

A new Davis Homes home means modern floor plans, brand-new systems and finishes, less maintenance, and no remodeling projects waiting for you — plus the confidence of working with a trusted Indiana builder with 75 years of experience.
